President's role:
Spokesperson for the Chamber. Responsible for conducting Executive Committee and Public Meetings/Events. Instigate and attend meetings with key stakeholders/organizations in relation to alliances, council and current issues. Oversight and guidance of the Executive Committee members and ensuring the Chamber’s operations and activities undertaken in accordance with the Chamber’s policies.

Vice President's role:

Secretary's role:
To prepare and distribute meeting agendas, keep minutes of all appointments of office-bearers and members of the committee, names of members of the committee present at a committee meeting or a general meeting and all proceedings at committee meetings and general meetings. To assist with organizing meetings, events and special functions along with preparation and distribution of invitations, advertisements and press releases. To answer and direct enquiries on behalf of the Chamber. To prepare monthly instructions and updates to web developer for uploading onto Chamber’s Web site.

Development of the Chambers' online identity through the website and email promotions.
More about Scott:
Scott has qualifications in engineering, art and graphic design, and has accumulated 15 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry working for high profile bands, artists and record companies. He continues to broaden his skills across the print and web mediums, and locally has developed a comprehensive online and printed directory for the Northern Illawarra called NiO (Northern Illawarra Online). Scott occupies a unique position in the local business landscape, working closely with both Chambers of Commerce as part of the executive team, as well as being an active executive member of Helensburgh Lions Club, and chairman of Helensburgh Scouts.

Treasurer's role:
To ensure money due to the association is collected and received and that all payments authorized by the association are made, correct books and accounts are kept showing the financial affairs of the association including full details of all receipts and expenditure connected with the activities of the association. An annual audit is carried out on the records of the association before 31st July. The Treasurer also has the responsibility of being the Public Officer who is required to deal with the ATO, ASIC and legislation.

To develop a direct relationship with local media to help promote the Chamber, its members and related projects.

Bruce has a strong background in management training and business consulting. He has spent several years abroad managing and developing his company Dramatrix and held the Honorary VIP position, Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce for Hungary. His experience in sales and marketing gives the Corrimal Chamber a competitive edge as it strives to expand and deliver more to its' members. Bruce is married with three children and lives in Wollongong.
